Pricing & Costing Windows

Solar Graphics designs are made & installed by layering combinations of colored & reflective window films.  These films are squeegeed one layer at a time with soapy water (non-ultra Lemon Joy or baby soap).  We have 47 colors & 10 various back-up or construction films.  The cost of various graphics depends on the amount of layers each graphic has & square footage of the materials for each layer.  Below are costing & pricing for different basic graphic elements.  To price the graphics, each part needs to be figured per square foot for each color, back-up, & construction film.  The cost for materials will increase as the size & layers increase.

Our basic rule of thumb for pricing is:

• You purchase film by the linear foot.  Color films are usually 47 inches wide & back-up films are usually 60 inches wide.
• We figure the cost of each film by square footage for each layer of the graphics.
• Each part of the window graphic is figured the same - borders, letters, doors, & graphics.
• The cost of colored films is $1.78 to $2.75 per sq/ft & back-up films is $1.14 to $1.75 per sq/ft, depending on the linear footage of the purchase. (See Colored Films & Back-Up Films)
